The moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on.... and  on, and on...

I have neither enough wit or piety to write more in this comment except this:

Good pic, crisp and accurate tones, excellent angle, good dof.. all in all, excellent Stock!

Peter.

Ah!, just noticed, in scrolling down, the DD.. bears out my comments hehe! bravo!...

Just curios but did they have pens in the 1200's? or is this just a metaphor? I'm not sure on the history on pens.

If someone is interested in, the statue of Anonymus is in Budapest. Anonymus (latin, means "nameless") was the scrivener and chronicle writer of a Hungarian rex (of Bela III., probably, but we don't know it for sure), lived in the late 12. century. We know almost nothing  of his life, just his works and a short identification "P. dictus magister, Rex Belae Notarius" (P., who is said to be a master, scrivener of rex Bela ...). So we don't know even his full name, and that's why he is rather called Anonymus ("Nameless").

Love the photograph. The fact of the statue being a scholar yet not being able to see the face in haunting. Fantastic job.

Wow! This is amazing! This could make a really good target for a dark/creepy manipulation. Dark scenery, this figure sitting and waiting for your arrival, crows crying their screams of death.... Ooooo chills~ : D
Thank you for this and great job on the well deserved Daily Deviation!
